Reuter (1896c: 197) suspected that salviae Hahn, 1835 is a nonidentifiable species of Adelphocoris. We prefer to retain the above synonymy until further examination. Records from Caucasus and Russia (CT: Samara Prov.) are erroneous. The records from Iran (Sakenin et al., 2011b; Samin et al., 2011) also seem erroneous.
