The record from S Africa ("Rhodesia") (Maldonado Capriles, 1990) is erroneous and that from European Russia (ST: Dagestan) (Kiritshenko, 1918) needs confirmation. The STS of Rhynocoris punctiventris var. dimidiatus are in Dispons' collection (MNHN) and not in the collection of the museum of the University of Jerusalem as stated by Dispons (1964f).
