Önder (1982: 102) considers on the basis of Turkish material that there is no valuable difference between the two subspecies of Anthocoris minki. There is no serious argument to oppose to this statement, since the subspecies is "extrêmement voisine de la forme typique, avec laquelle elle forme une cline à peu près continue" (Péricart, 1972). Contrary to the original description, as HT of A. minki pistaciae in ZMUH is labelled a male from Shah Rai (Teheran Prov.).
