Aradus crenatus Say is a Nearctic species. The identity of specimens reported from China (NO: Gansu; CE: Hubei) by Hsiao (1964e) and S. L. Liu (1981c) as A. crenatus has to be confirmed, they may refer to a new species. Records from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia (ST: Dagestan) refer to A. inopinus, see note under the latter.
