Ehanno (1993) and Ehanno in Ehanno & Ribes (1994) for his new species from France distinguished cotypes (specimens from the main locality), paracotypes (specimens from localities very close to the main) and other material, but indicated (Ehanno in Ehanno & Ribes, 1994: 15) that the male among cotypes bearing a number of an illustration may be considered HT. We followed this indication. Respective specimens were expressly indicated as HT by Ehanno (1997b). According to Ehanno (1997b), Homoeocoris is a separate subgenus in which D. tristis, D. lateralis, D. punctiger and D. sari were placed by him.
