Kiritshenko (1916a: 64) noted that Dallas (1852a: 389) misapplied the name Mictis affinis Westwood to material of this species from Korea in BMNH and (p. 64, footnote) suggested that dallasi might be a subspecies of Anoplocnemis phasianus.
