Possibly extinct in Belgium and France. Earlier records from Finland refer to present Russian territory. See also C. arcticus (J. Sahlberg). The single record from RU (FE) is based on the holotype of Salda sericans, which probably belongs to Chiloxanthus arcticus (Vinokurov, 2005a).
