Cimex triangularis Goeze, 1778 (now in Brachycoleus, Miridae) and its objective synonyms C. eryngii Geoffroy, 1785 and C. trigonus Gmelin, 1790 were erroneously listed in synonymy of A. roeselii by Reuter (1888a: 186) and some subsequent authors.
