The record from Portugal in Jansson, 1986a was based on misidentified specimens of Sigara janssoni. Earlier records from Tadzikistan and Turkmenistan were based on misidentified specimens of S. seistanensis. The record from Morocco (Gheit, 1995) needs confirmation.
