Since the type-specimen of this species seemed to be lost, Péricart (1967a: 56) designated a NT; later a rearrangement of the collections in the ZMHB allowed to rediscover the type. Following the prescriptions of the Code, the case was submitted to the ICZN (Göllner-Scheiding & Péricart, 1969) and the NT was cancelled (Opinion 959/1971: 34).
