The name maculata, rejected by Fieber, was resurrected by Horváth, 1906a, and used by authors up to 1962, when Drake & Ruhoff erroneously invalidated it, presumably through a misinterpretation of homonymy rules; later Péricart reintroduced it (see Péricart, 1981c: 511). The record from Iran (Péricart & Golub, 1996) needs confirmation.
