Dioncus Fieber, 1858: 308 (junior homonym of Dioncus Stimpson, 1855, Platyhelminthes). Type species by monotypy: Dioncus neglectus sensu Fieber, 1858, 1861 (= Dionconotus confluens Hoberlandt, 1945).
