Stenocoris Rambur, 1839 (January) has priority over Stenocoris Burmeister, 1839 (after August 25), but Fieber (1860-1861) replaced the first name, wrongly stating that the second was published in 1835. Subsequent authors did not use Rambur's name, but widely used Burmeister's one. The provisions of Art. 23.9.1 of the Code may be applied to conserve Paromius Fieber and Stenocoris Burmeister.
